Raj Panchapakesan Executive Council Member

Raj Panchpakesan joined SEF, USA as a volunteer in 2000. A quote in Tamil, "Thanathil sirandadu Kan daanam" - meaning the highest form of giving is donating your eyes - was one that always resonated with Raj. A chance meeting with Kala Murali led him to the organization dedicated to the cause of giving vision to the underserved. 

Raj is inspired by the selfless leadership of Dr. R.V. Ramani and Dr. Radha Ramani in India, Murali Krishnamurthy and Kala Murali in the US, and the loving team of volunteers. “I would love to contribute to the Vision 2030 strategy and am grateful to be part of a selfless organization where God has given me a chance to give back to the community. Being a volunteer for SEF, USA was an incredible experience that taught me valuable lessons about project management, fundraising, as well as working with the government system”, says Raj.
