The new facility will be operational in 2025 and will have an annual free surgery capacity of 20,000. It will be spread over a total area of 54,000 sq. feet on a two-acre parcel of land. It will have 110 beds for free patients and 20 for paying patients.

The Sankarseth Sable Eye Hospital will serve the districts of North & South Sholapur, Akkalkot, Barshi, Mangalwedha, Pandharpur, Sangola, Malshiras, Mohol, Madha, Karmala, with a total population of 4,317,756.‍
